How to advertise your property
Introduction
Studentpad and the University of Wolverhampton offer the most cost effective and simplest method of advertising to aid with the letting of your property/ies, quickly and easily. As an alternative of incurring high costs advertising your property through traditional methods, wasting time and money advertising in places where students do not look, let Studentpad.co.uk facilitate the process.
Property management module
By registering with Studentpad you will also be able to utilise a number of features that will help you in your day-to-day tasks, free of charge. These functions include: the ability to allow you to manage your maintenance works, send automatic rent reminders to your tenants also remind yourself when your gas/electrical certificates are due for renewal. New features include contract management; online fault reporting and key management will be available soon.
Advertising
Studentpad works very closely with the University of Wolverhampton; therefore, you will need to join the Midland Landlord Accreditation Scheme www.mlas-online.co.uk, before you are allowed to advertise on the Studentpad website. The University of Wolverhampton solely uses Studentpad software to advertise your properties. In turn, all students are referred to the Wolverhamptonstudentpad.co.uk website and it is therefore, very successful for registered landlords.
Once you have registered with the Midland Landlords Accreditation Scheme (MLAS) you can then apply to advertise with the University. Although you can do this before registering, your advert will not be processed until the University has received confirmation from the MLAS that you are a member and attended the mandatory training.
You will also need to supply the original Gas Safety record and NICEIC Periodic Inspection Report for Electrical Installation and confirmation that any remedial works on them have been completed.
The property will remain registered for five years, unless: you tell the University otherwise; one of your certificates has expired (advertising would be withdrawn until a new certificate is received) or a serious complaint from a student had been received and was pending investigation.

Photographs
A maximum of 6 photographs may also be included in the advertising of your property. Photographs, although not compulsory, do make a huge difference to your advert. This is what one of our customers commented:
